- If a player is managed to touch the ball and ball hits boundary then four runs are awarded by the umpires and if a ball hits the boundary directly without touching the ground, then six runs are awarded by the umpires.
- If a batsman is unable to touch the ball and he is out of his grease, then wicket keeper must eradicate the stumps in order to send player back to pavilion. If he fails to do so then player is eligible to complete his innings.
- If a batsman is unable to touch the ball and ball hits the wicket then he has to leave the ground immediately.
- If a player is unable to touch the ball and ball hits the wicket and it’s a no ball, then the batsman is eligible to complete his innings.
- Each bowler can bowl maximum 10 overs in one day cricket and unlimited overs in test cricket.
- If a bowler gives no ball, then free hit is awarded by the umpire and batsman is eligible to compete his innings
- Each bowler is eligible to bowl one shoulder height delivery in one day cricket and two deliveries in test cricket.
- If a batsman hits the ball then he has to take infinite runs unless ball reaches to bowler or wicket keeper and if a batsman is out of his grease then any player except two current batsman is eligible to run out any batsman.
- If a ball is missed by wicket keeper then the both batsman are eligible to take extra runs and if ball touches the boundary then four runs are awarded by the umpires according to bye’s rules of icc.
- All of these rules are generic for all formats of cricket .These rules are moderated by various cricket leagues according to their country.
